EASTER HOLIDAYS - ABSTRACT STENCIL PAINTING
Want to try some easy ways to paint with stencils? This will be fun as you can design as you go. Jasper Knight is our inspiration here. Using bold colours and intersecting geometry, you can make a powerful painting. We will work in acrylics, and you can create one or two pieces in the 3 hour time slot. This workshop is for keen teenage artists who want to try a new technique.

EASTER HOLIDAYS - SCREENPRINTING
Warning! This is messy and fun. It could even be addictive. With a little bit of planning you could achieve a fabulous result. Bring along a white t-shirt or fabric to print onto. Learn the basics of screen-printing techniques so you can apply your designs to different fabrics or paper. For High School Students.

Hand Building Ceramic Forms
Wanted! Young people (12-20 years old) for Ceramic sculptural research. Draw your mythical Creature and make in clay. All work will be glazed and fired. You may choose to create vessels that incorporate sculptural elements or purely sculptural pieces.
Over five sessions you will learn about the properties of clay production and what is necessary to achieve success through the kiln. I’m looking forward to working with this group. Numbers are strictly limited. Please inquire to secure your place soon.

High School – Ceramic Containers & Sculptures
Imaginary and Mythical concepts will be explored in clay. With some research and planning, our first piece will be a Hope and Dreams container. Of course it will need a lid, but your dreams may need another shape.
The techniques explored will include sgraffito and slip decoration. This term is all about three-dimensional art forms. We will include sculptural pieces, coding them with hidden meanings.
Ceramics will be fired and all artworks will be displayed in our mid-year exhibition. (4th July)
